This policy explains how Gerniq ("we", "us") handles personal data collected through gerniq.com. It does not cover data processed by Gerniq software that customers run in their own environments; that data stays with the customer and never reaches us.
What we collect
- Contact form: your name, work email, company, role, the options you select and your message.
- Emails you send us: your email address and the contents of your message.
- Server logs: our hosting provider records technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, to operate and secure the website.
We do not use cookies, analytics tools or advertising trackers on this website.
Why we use it
We use your details only to respond to your request, arrange calls and pilots, and keep a record of our correspondence. We process this data on the basis of the consent you give when you submit the form or write to us, as provided under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
Who we share it with
We do not sell or rent personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us run the website and email (such as our hosting and email provider), and only as needed to provide those services, or where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, unless you ask us to delete them sooner or we need them longer to meet a legal obligation.
How we protect it
The website is served over HTTPS. Access to enquiries is limited to the people who need it to respond to you.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct or erase your personal data, withdraw your consent at any time, or nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing done before you withdrew it.
